New season - New changes

As part of the ongoing updates and improvements to the park, the 'new-look' Poolside Bar has undergone a re-vamp and will open towards the end of March.

Although the bar is under new management, it's still kept within the family !

Some of the changes include : New supplier, so that we're able to offer a refreshing change and a different choice of draght beers. New food menu, freshly made too ! Also, an internal re-vamp.

We hope you'll enjoy the changes.

GREAT STRAIT RAFT RUN

Web link

A raft run like no other which is held annually on the majestic waters of the Menai Strait. The spectacular backdrop of Snowdonia’s mountains and the Isle of Anglesey’s natural beauty contribute to the uniqueness of this fun and challenging day of rafting and raising money for good causes.

Starting from the old slate port of Felinheli rafts proceed past historic Plas Newydd and on towards Porthaethwy (Menai Bridge). En route passing beneath the iconically spectacular engineering and structural feats that link Anglesey to the mainland - the Britannia and Menai bridges, built by Robert Stephenson and Thomas Telford; and navigating the notorious and occasionally demanding Swellies.

A day of endeavour and fun in aid of charity and local good causes.

Last year, the Glan Gwna raft managed to finnish in 13th place, out of a total of 29 taking part.

You have a feeling of being in the country side, what with all the wild life, the very friendly people and staff; nothing is too much trouble for them. The park is beautiful and extremely well looked after. It is lovely to have somewhere so beautiful to relax and enjoy peace and tranquility.
